The Yamaha DM7 Compact packs the DM7 platform’s mix engine into a smaller-format console, offering 72 mono input channels and 48 mix buses with the same 4-band parametric EQ, dynamics processing and 43 onboard effect types as the full-size DM7.
It’s controlled via a single 12.1-inch multi-touch main display plus a 7-inch touch screen, with 12+4 motorised faders on the surface. Dante networking still runs a full 144 in/144 out across primary and secondary networks, with 16 analogue inputs and outputs, 1 AES/EBU output and 500 scene memories, giving a more compact footprint for smaller touring rigs and installs that still need DM7-level processing.
