Additional Information
The Swisson SPD-28-5R is a 1U, 19-inch rack-mounted DMX/RDM splitter and signal booster with 2x DMX/RDM inputs (5-pin) and 8x optically isolated DMX/RDM outputs (5-pin), used to distribute a lighting console’s DMX signal to multiple fixture runs while maintaining full bidirectional RDM communication for remote fixture addressing and diagnostics.
With ten selectable output modes and two failure-behaviour settings, the unit is built for reliable operation across touring rigs of varying configuration, and its optical isolation between ports protects against ground loop noise and signal degradation over long DMX runs.
