The Shure AD2/SM58 pairs Shure’s Axient Digital handheld transmitter body with the industry-standard SM58 cardioid dynamic capsule, giving the familiar SM58 vocal sound with AES256-encrypted digital wireless transmission. Selectable RF output power of 2, 10 or 35mW allows range and system channel density to be balanced to the venue.
It runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or 9 hours on a Shure SB900A rechargeable lithium-ion pack, transmits up to 100m line of sight, and includes a backlit LCD display and automatic gain control, making it a reliable choice for touring vocal and presenter applications.
