The Pixera Two Gen2 RS is a compact 2U rack-mounted media server built for 4K and 8K real-time playback and projection mapping, powered by an Intel Xeon performance CPU with 128GB of RAM and an Nvidia sync card for frame-accurate multi-server synchronisation. It offers 7.6TB of media storage with a 10GB/s default read rate, supporting uncompressed 4K playback at 60fps.
Connectivity includes 12G-SDI I/O and HDMI 2.0 input for camera and playback sources, a Dante virtual soundcard for integrated audio, and 2x10Gbit/s plus 4x1Gbit/s network cards for high-bandwidth show networking. Built with a redundant power supply, it’s designed as a rack-mounted main-and-backup pairing for large-scale video mapping, immersive experiences and live event productions.
