The NovaStar MX40 Pro LED Display Controller is a 4K all-in-one processor and sender built for large-format LED video walls on live events, corporate stages and broadcast sets. It accepts up to four simultaneous inputs — 3x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.2 and 1x 12G-SDI — supporting resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60Hz, including HDR10 and HLG sources, so operators can switch or layer multiple camera and playback feeds directly into the wall without an external scaler.
On the output side, the MX40 Pro drives up to 20 Gigabit Ethernet ports, giving it the bandwidth to control screens of up to roughly 9 million pixels from a single unit. It is managed through NovaStar’s VMP (Vision Management Platform) software, giving technicians full control over scaling, layering, colour calibration and redundancy switching, making it a strong fit for touring LED screen packages and fixed-install video wall hire.
