Additional Information
The Magic FX Power Drop is a triggered drop unit that releases a curtain, drape or balloon net the instant it is powered on, giving a clean, simultaneous reveal effect for stage openings, product launches and big finale moments. Each unit is rated to a maximum load of 20kg and can be run individually or linked together in a chain via PowerCON in/out connectors, with a recommended maximum spacing of 1 metre between units for an even drop line.
Control is via a simple 230V on/off switch for direct activation, or via DMX using an optional switch pack accessory for cue-based triggering from a lighting desk. This listing is supplied as a set of 10 Power Drop units complete with 10 curtain clamps and a heavy-duty roadcase, each unit weighing 18.5kg and drawing 100W.
