The HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro is Blackmagic’s flagship file-based recorder, built for 4K broadcast, archive and mastering work. It records to dual SD cards and dual internal NVMe SSDs with automatic hot-swap failover, so recording never stops even when swapping media mid-session.
With 12G-SDI and HDMI connections, 10G Ethernet networking and traditional VTR-style jog/shuttle controls, it bridges broadcast workflow familiarity with modern file-based 4K recording, supporting ProRes, DNxHD and H.264/H.265 codecs.
